THROWN is a Horror Roguelike Dicebuilder – relive the tabletop experience of your childho- your nightmares.
THROWN is a combination of turn-based strategy, roguelike design and horror. You play a twisted tabletop game in first person against your captor, who claims to be your brother. It was inspired by games like Inscryption, Into the Breach and Dicey Dungeons.
I am the sole designer on the project, responsible for crafting an expansive systemic game with interlocking mechanics and synergies alongside with setting the overall game vision and working on balancing, implementing, tools design/specs, narrative design and UX design.
